You must be at least 18 years old to sign up for Southwest Virginia CPR courses online. If you are younger than 18, please contact us first to learn about registration options.
In order to receive certification, you must demonstrate competency in life-saving skills. Our instructors use the American Red Cross Skill Charts to evaluate participants. If you are unable to meet the objective of the skill according to Red Cross requirements, we cannot issue you a certificate. This will require you to kneel on the floor to deliver chest compressions AND rescue breaths. If you are unable to kneel, you may wish to reconsider enrolling in a class.
