Southwest Virginia CPR provides quality life-saving skills instruction in recognizing and responding to first aid, cardiac, and breathing emergencies. How long does my certification last?
Your certification lasts for 2 years.
Is there an age requirement to participate?
No, but in order to achieve certification, participants must demonstrate competency in required skills. In an Adult CPR course, for example, participants must compress the adult manikin chest at least two inches deep at a rate of 100-120 beats per minute. This may be difficult for children under 12. If you are under 18 and wish to receive certification, please contact us before signing up.
